2022-2023 CSDE/SERC Training Series for the African American/Black and Puerto Rican/Latino Course of Studies

To assist with district planning, we are releasing “save-the-date” information for the 2022-2023 CSDE/SERC Training Series.  Please note, all dates are tentative and contingent on funding.  Educators, including department and curriculum coordinators, and administrators, who will be implementing the course next year are invited to participate.  All sessions are planned to be virtual and at no cost to districts with the exception of release time/substitute coverage.  Each cadre will be capped at 50 schools/150 registrants to serve the anticipated number of new schools participating.  Additional staff from schools currently participating in the 2021-2022 Training Series will be added, as space permits.  It is suggested schools save the dates for each Cadre until registration is made available, and Cadre selection is confirmed.  As this training is organized as a professional learning community, it is suggested that staff from the same school/district attend the same training.  Given this advance notice, switching between Cadres to accommodate schedules will not be permitted.  Please contact Heather Dawes, Project Specialist, SERC at dawes@ctserc.org with any questions you may have.
