- Gather your ideas and input on the topics you believe are most important to be included.
WHY? To inform the development of a statewide, model curriculum that is representative of multiple perspectives.
WHEN/WHERE? There will be various opportunities to participate in different regions across the state. Please select and attend the session that is the most convenient for you.

Welcome to our new website.
Welcome to our new website in support of the development of the first Black and Latino Studies curriculum for public schools in Connecticut.
The curriculum is under active development by a multi-disciplinary advisory group from across the state, organized into multiple working committees.
Visit the about page to learn more about the legislation and the team from the CT State Department of Education and SERC who are organizing the curriculum’s development.
This website is still under development. We’ll be adding information, documentation and features on a regular basis.
We look forward to documenting the journey towards the new curriculum and hope you’ll contact us ( pa1912@ctserc.org) with any questions or comments you might have.
